Hylon® PA6 and PA66 compounds are produced from virgin resin and offer great processability, excellent mechanical properties and superior surface finish.

Hylon® compounds are designed for injection molding and extrusion applications. They are available unfilled or reinforced with different fillers (glass fiber, glass bead, carbon fiber, mineral filler). Ravago's PA grades provide enhanced performance characteristics such as heat stabilization, UV resistance, hydrolysis resistance, laser markable and impact modification. Hylon® compounds offer good colorability and custom colors are available upon request.

Hylon® also offers excellent flame retardancy and electrical insulation properties. Grades are available from V2 class to V0 class, in both halogenated and halogen-free options with different flame retardant additives such as brominated, polymeric halogen, melamine and phosphorus based or halogen and phosphorus free.

Typical applications include interior, exterior and under-the-hood automotive components, electric & electronics components, building & construction and consumer goods.
